Been following this Polish designer, Piotr Buczkowski of Heroes Design for a while. Great design, with highly experimental touch.
I’ve posted them here before, but haven’t checked their URL for some time & wow, I found all fresh mesmerizing design by the Folks over at Grandpeople. Superb.
I saw Pablo Lobato in the recent book from Taschen, “Illustration Now! 3”, where I also have a double page feature.
As he wrote there: “I want my portraits to be simple and efficient, something like: You know him, the guy with the long face and the crazy little eyes!” He definitely achieved that in his illustrations. Great talent for catching distinguishable attributes of the celebrities illustrated in his portfolio. Amazing artist!

Sublime design work
Some really nice design work from Michael Kosmicki
I recently took a part in the creation of this quite minimal poster shown below, for the Polish National Opera (Grand Theatre), for “Dwa Slowa” (” Two Words”) opera.
Photo by Lukasz Murgrabia, typo design by Kamil Bohdanowicz, while I took care of the environment, the glass stand and neon renders.
It didn’t involve much visual interaction from me, though I thought it was still worth to share it here :]
